2 years ago I was involved in an accident where they had to put 3 screws in my ball joint of my hip. since then I have not been able to squat down, cannot run, have to climb stairs one at a time, have problems raising from a sitting position, and lowering to a sitting position, have pain in my hip and also groin area according to which way I move my leg to far to the right or either to the left. Last week I found out that the screws are backing out so now they are telling me it is time for a hip replacement. I want to know if my pain will go away? If I will be able to squat again? If I will be able to run if the situation calls for it? And If I will be able to enjoy sex again because of the problems I have with pain in my goin area. I hope no one is offended by these questions but these are a few of the things I would like to know. I would appreciate anything anyone could advise me about this surgery, I know that it was very painful before, and I am just hoping that maybe by having this done it would make me better than I am at present. I am a 42 yr old female and it looks as if I would have to have several of these surgeries ahead of me...Thank You
