Following a car accident 4 1/2 yrs ago, which I broke my left hip in 3 places, besides other broken left leg bones, I had problems with the hip healing. Dec 28th 1998 I had my hip pins removed, thinking this would relieve alot of the problem, I was Dx with AVN. After thinking that I had this for quite sometime, On Sept 28th 1999 I had my total hip done. I was able to return back to my job on Nov 29th with crutches and am happy to report at this time that I am off of the crutches, off of all of the pain meds and other meds that I was taken and feeling great. I even went to our Christmas Party on Dec. 11th and DANCED without pain. What a happy time this is for me. I am 42 yrs old, and overweight, but am currently having no pain and problems. Now my biggest problem is finding an excercise/workout tape that would be helpful for me to lose some weight and get in better shape.
