I am a 56 yo female, had L thr in Jan'99. Was born with hip dysplasia, treated by casts. On x-ray the prosthesis is said to be "perfect".. however I have a deep limp despite mega exercises, deep depression in the operative site, and pain. I own horses and ridex4/wk.. my L leg has "come back" well, but does not translate out to walking. Does anybody know anything re: muscle reimplantation? I think my gluteal is in the wrong place.. any ideas? EMG is fine.VERY frustrated!!
