I also live alone with no family here. I do have friends but they all work duing the day. I've contacted an at home health agency to talk about home health care. It will cost me $15 per hour to have someone come in and do light cleaning, some cooking, grocery shop, help me in the shower, and take me to the doctors. Tomorrow looks like it's your big day. wish I had gotten this to you sooner. Email me if you want. I'd be happy to do the leg work to find someone for you.
