At 8 months of age I was diagnosed with Congenital hip displasure (left Hip). I was in and out of the hospital since I was 8months 0ld. I began with a full body cast at 8 months and from there I had various hip operations, usually at Boston Children's hospital. During my childhood, I was not allowed to be involved in any sports, or anything that would hurt my hip.

At the age of 30, I finally had to undergo a hip replacement. It was not the best of times. Alot of pain. Since then, my hip actually pops in and out of the joint and I get some really bad pain once in a while, where I can barely walk. But that only lasts for a day or two. My husband wants me to go get things checked out, but i am so afraid of having to go back in the hospital for surgery. Maybe soon I will.
