pain started July, doctor said MRI and x-rays showed no fx or necrosis...after 3 weeks unbearable..had a time getting them to admit me, thought it could be nerves...had fx all this time and made worse by being on it...was advised to get bone screws as replacement might not last but 10 years (this was mistake I believe)...pain stopped immediately...on crutches with no weight 6 weeks, then limited...pain in groin then started, more of ache...now I cannot be on it very lone or aches for 2 days..ortho said by 1 year from surgery should be 2/3 healed..is this usual?..am doubting him although x-rays show nothing he says and I could see nothing...thinking of having it checked at speciality hospital..anyone with this problem and what happened?....lOh, yes, I have rheumatoid arthritis.
