I'm 44 and have been in pain for about 6 yrs. I've had steroid and Synvisc injections, plus many years of pain killers and anti-inflamatories. I've had enough! My guts won't take all these pills for much longer. My op is on 9th March 2000. I'm a little scarred - know a lot. I am donating my own blood and feeling very run down. Has anyone got an all ceramic hip? What is it like? This will be cementless - is this more painful and for a lot longer? Any tips to prepare???
