Three weeks ago I fell in my room and dislocated my hip. The doctors were able to relocate it without surgery and i was released after 23 hours. The pain is basically gone now and i am able to move around with crutches. I didn't realise that there was such a great chance of my hip dislocating again until I read these stories and now I'm really scared. I am an extremely athletic person: i used to run, or use the cross trainer and stair climber at the gym almost everyday. Am I ever going to be able to do these things agin or are my activities going to be limited for the rest of my life? Keep in mind that I am 22, athletic, and I didn't have to have surgery. Can someone please help?
