I just had a left THR on 2/21. I am 36 years old and lead a very active life. Even though I am just 3 weeks post-op my decision to have the surgery was the right one. I already have so much more mobility and no pain. Yes - you may be down for 6 weeks without driving your motorcycle..but by summer you will be as good as new...only without pain....you can really enjoy yourself.
