OA has eaten away my right hip joint. I have just finnished a synvisc injection programme to help ease the pain until I loose enough weight to have the replacement. The waiting list could be 12 be 12-18 months. The synvisc gives me easier movement and also lets me sit for more than 2 hours as I was before the injections.
