The same exact thing happened to me.I had my first surgery Nov.99.Then My mother and I thought I was healing well.Until I went in for a post-op follow up,and they ammediately admitted me.The bone for some reason was not healing at my young age.I had a second surgery,bone graph-and so far the bone is doing Excellent-it's healing.I was very active and drank milk,I hope things go just as good for him.GOD BLESS
