I am realizing that alot of us dx'ed with dysplasia have a golden age of 35 when we run into trouble. I am 10 years out now (45), and am contemplating a revision. debris from the socket is forming around the prosthesis. I am having discomfort, but want to take care of this before the whole thing 'blows' on its own. Anyone have any revision stories? btw -- I have been followed by University Hospital Orthopaedics for my entire life, and would absolutely NEVER consider going anywhere else in the world, let alone here in Cleveland. Thank you, Drs. Murphy, Herndon, Heiple and Kraay!! I am not dreading the next step in the least (well - maybe just a little!!)
