I am a 30 year old male who has had both of his hips replaced and am waiting to have both shoulders replaced as well. I have been told that the condition I am suffering from is Avascular Nucrosis. I originally thought that I was too young to have a problem of this nature, but have since realised that others younger than I have suffered similar conditions. This is one disease that I would not wish on anyone. I have had to make major changes to my lifestyle, as many things that I could proviously do, I am no longer able to. One of the things that has helped me through all of this is my girlfriend. Without her help I don't think I would be as happy as I am at the moment.
