Marise, I'm sure you considered the alternatives to surgery as did we all - more pain, increased degeration, etc. Replacement was probably a "given" to most of us. My experience is eventhough movement in my left hip is more limited than I expected,I do not want the pain back. Life after surgery is good - all things considered - enjoy it. Hebrews 13: 5,6
