Recently diagnosed with avn of both hips. I also have multiple sclerosis. Doctor wants to schedule me for core decompression of my left hip first and then later the right hip. I am scared to death. I already have trouble walking however I do get around with leg braces and a quad cane. I am wondring how much down time I can expect. You know doctors they say 4-6 weeks when it can actually be longer. Can anyone out there who has had this done tell me what to expect afterwards, how much pain if any involved , can i tried to go back to normal routine on my own slowly. I have already been through a bad bout of depression back in 1995 after being diagnosed with MS and have been depression free since treatment. Do not wish to go that path again. If anyone can give me some words of comfort, I would greatly appreciate it. Thankyou, Sandy
