I'm 44, and had a THR of my right hip on 05/30/2000 due to congential hip problems which resulted in OA. The pain in my hip is gone! The incision is still a bit tender but not bad and there is some slight discomfort in my right thigh but again, not bad. I am scheduled to have the left THR sometime in August. Pray and enter this endevour with optimism and do your PT exercises, they are cructial! I wish you the best.
