I had my right hip replaced in Sept.1997. However the left hip was also damaged and continued to get worse. On June 30,2000, I had my left hip replaced. I experienced very little pain and within a week traded the walker for a cane. Today, July 26, I am able to walk without a cane, no pain and I am so glad I had the surgery. I found this site several months ago. Thank you my fellow Hippies for sharing your experiences.
