I'm a very young 60 year old new Grandma just diagnosed with bone cysts. Pain came on suddenly about 3 months ago and is now constant and very severe in my groin, knee and leg (no pain in my hip). Am taking Vioxx and tylenol w/codiene with very little relief. Doctor said hip replacement necessary. How is it possible to have a hip deteriorate in such a short time? Anyone else experience this fast degeneration? I just relocated from Florida back to my home state of New Jersey and started a new job. How long after surgery will I be able to go back to work? Can't afford to lose my job over this but am afraid that might happen if I'm out of work for any length of time. How long of a recovery period am I looking at before returning to work? Any information you all can pass on would be enormously appreciated. Thanks!
