I had THR on my left side 3 years ago. I was in the hospital for 6 days then on crutches for 4 weeks (Uncemented), then a cane for about a month. I was chasing my grandson 2 1/2 months after surgery and have had no problems since, except now I have a bone cyst on my right hip and need that side side replaced as well (being done in one month). Do not suffer. I could barely walk before and the relief in immediate. Take care and good luck.
