I don't exactly know what you have but if it's one thing I know about it's hip pain. I've had both of mine replaced. It was the best thing I ever did! I know what you mean when you say you question God why me! I'm 36 yrs. almost 37! My mom, sister and I have hip replacements, I guess after finally coming to reality, this is something "we" have to live with, I try to look at it like this- At least God gave man the brains to figure out how to help us, what about the people who have no chance of ever walking? I can honestly say that your Dr. is right the longer you can wait the better these things get. I had my 1st done in '88', 5 months on crutches, 2nd on done '94' 5 weeks on crutches, thats a big improvement!! I will say though if you are in a lot of pain go for it! I live a very normal life, the only time I really see a problem is if I go to Six Flags and walk for 2 days, and then I'm just sore. Enough said please write back if you would like to.
