I'm so sorry that your progress is so slow and painful.... I had an uncemented R hip replac. in Jan. '99. I don't remember that I had it at times.I'm 51 actively working R.N. work on my feet 40 Hr./wk. I'm careful when I bend, don't internally rotate and do aqua exercises and cycle. I hope you improve but don't hesitate to get the opinion of another Dr. I was very careful in making that decision.... It's my hip and my life . It will get better!!!!!
