Dear Sam, Thank you for replying to my story. you are one of the few people that i have ever corresponded with that have had the same problem that i do. I am not encouraged to have a hip replacement. The doctors say that i am too young, and can have only a few in my life time...my mother who subsequently is a nurse agrees with this...i disagree, i am 19 years of age, i might be dead by the time i turn 40, having lead a imobile, and painful life, they dont understand how i feel, i don't expect them too, but wouldn't it be great if more people that were orthopaedic surgeons had hip problems! Once again thank you for replying, it was good to hear from someone that actually understands. Some times life seems like a lot more bother than its worth, i hope that for you that is not the case at the moment. Thinking of you and keeping you in my prayers. Keep in touch, Kate.
