Donna, You have to realize that all people respond to this surgery differently. My room-mate walked out of the hospital with a walker(no lie) and I was cane free at 4 wks. So do not be so quick to judge and perhaps you need to read more of these and see how many people are walking etc at 6-8 wks.. I hope you continue to improve,but please do not judge all our progress and hard-work. Why would we lie...... Good Luck with the attitude..
