30yr old military female. Incurred compacted femoral neck stress fx during a forced 12 mile foot march/run a year ago. Dr cleared after 8 months to run in Jun- ran 4 miles- left very painful. It has been 4 months of not running and I am still having a constant pain. Should I try to get an MRI? I have not been back to the dr since I was cleared. Could I get AVN from this injury and is it possible that it is causing the pain? I have continually taken calcium and glucosamine with MSM. It just does not seem to be progressing at all. Thanks
