Hi....sorry to hear thet you are afraid......but, what is worse? Look, you have to take the good with the bad.If it will get you out of pain and eliminate or minimize the limp then what are you waiting for? i can say this because I too, went 6 years of excrucisting pain before I had my FIRST THR at age 35!!! I had several dislocations, two more revision surgeries ....and am finally healed....I would do it all over again because I am finally pain free.I can walk the mall with my daughter and last Sunday I went on a 5K walk for Breast cancer awareness.....just making the point that pain free is all worth it.
