2 wks after my surgery I developed dark brown fluid under my incision which was drained of 240cc, culture grew rare Staph. More fluid developed despite a drain and gradually the area became pink then red and warm, Sed rate then was 98, wbc normal. Have been in Kefles, Cipro, iv Rocephin and now Rifampin 2 times a dat with 500 Mg of Dicloxacillin 3 times a day for 7 wks. No longer pink the area toward the greater trochanter remins warm and sore to put pressure on. we are now 3 months post op! Anybody have a similar experience to share. Thank you
