I am a 45 year old male hippie. Had left thr in Novemder 99. Had right thr June 2000. Left hip is doing great. Right hip has been slow to respond. Weak abductor muscle has caused me to still be limping. Recently am experiencing very sharp pain in right hip. Pain is not constant but occurs at times with the least amount of movement. Can't figure out if its just nerves regenerating from therapy or the possibility of infection? No outward signs of infection as incision has healed fine. Doctor wants to send me back to a (you guessed it) pain specialist. Anybody had a similar experience? HELP!!!!!!
