Sure your too young, but the fact remains that if your need it there is nothing you can do about it! I am 34 and i received a total hip replacement in October 1999 because of psoriasic arthritis. Things couldn't be better. I mountain biked and played golf all summer. So I encourage you to consider it seriously and talk to your doctor about the different types of prostheses available. Some of the new ones can last up to 20 years in young people who are in good physical condition. I would be lying if I told you that it,s an easy thing to go through. However, I think it will increase your quality of life immensely.
