33 is not too young to have a hip replacement. I had a total hip due to avascular necrosis at the age of 22. I am almost 33 and soon going in for revision surgery. I am happy to say that it has been a very sucessfully procedure and I live a very physcially active lifestyle. No one can tell that I have a total hip, and I forget my self a lot of the time.

Thanks to Dr Waddell and the orthopedic staff at St. Micheal's Hospital in Toronto, Canada.
