Thank you for starting this web site. I was told 1 year ago Thanksgiving that I had AVN of the Right Hip. I am a very active 45 year old working Mom, who is currently renovating an older home. I was very relieved to read about other younger people having AVN. I have had 2 Doc. tell me that with my good health history they are not really sure how I ended up with it. I feel for anyone with this. I just got home from surgery at MGH, Boston. I underwent aTHR on Monday 11/27/00 and I highly recommend Dr. Dennis Burke and his team. Each and every person that I dealt with was beyond words!! I have never felt so good. The Care at on the 6th was the "ultimate." I'd be happy to answer any question. mc 12/1/00. Hang In There.
