Hi Heather, I just stumbled across this web site looking for information myself. Our storoes are so similar! I am 32; have 2 little girls, ages 3 and almost 6; and am too contemplating hip replacement. I can't answer your questions though. I have known for 8 years that hip replacements were in my future due to a lifetime of arthritis, but I am just now realizing how iminent this all is. I too limp around in pain, live in a darvocet haise, and get waitied on more than I can stand. I am so tired of people staring and being asked what's wrong with my legs. I meet with an orthopedic surgeon on the 18th just to discuss options. I wish you well, and will pray for you. Oh, by the way, my dog is a cocker spaniel. What a small world!
