Although ten weeks is not very long into the recovery process it seems to me you are experiencing undo pain for weight bearing. I can't remember what percent I was weight bearing at ten weeks but I think it was more than 75%. Don't rush it. The shooting pain is not good in my opinion but I don't think you should be doing bending at the waist this soon. Apparently you didn't have problems like this in your first two recoveries as I didn't have any problems or pain to speak off with my first thr. I would be interested to know what kind of implant you have. Is it metal on metal, metal and plastic, or ceramic? I am still not pleased with my newest thr and still am experiencing more pain than I think I should be for what is now 6+ months. The recovery has been way too slow and I don't believe it's just me. Sincerly, Mike
