Donna... The doctor didn't tell me anything, I just do what feels comfortable for me. I too am walking with a cane and it's been almost 6 months, but every day seems to be getting better. But what a slow process. Sounds like your slow going too.... I'm going to my doctor in two weeks and I have a zillion questions for him.
