I have AVN in both hips and right shoulder. I had steriods for about 4 weeks in April 1999. Within 2 weeks of taking dexamethasone I had agony in my knees during the night. Is there anyone else reading this from England. If so it would be good to get in touch via Email. They've only just diagnosed me and I'm feeling very frustrated, particularly because of the length of time it has taken them to tell me what it is.
