thank you so much for taking the time to write such enouraging words. well we went thru orientation yesterday and looks good. couple of times he wanted to bail but i just told him in one hand u have a lifetime of pain...in the other u have six weeks of serious pain and then i am confident pain free! with the exception of no skiing. well, that's a small price to pay for NO MORE PAIN! activity with no pain! walking and walking without having to stop and grab ur hip! so i think he's up to it. i'd exchange the pain of surgery for the pain of NO HIP SOCKET AT ALL! oh yeah! so i'm hyping him. i'm having a cheerleading outfit made that says the TOTALLY HIP. lol! J.K. i might just to make him laugh. i'm crazay like that. thank you again soooo much. these are printed and ready for him to read. finding this place was a blessing and so are every one of you. take care. don't let this get u down. yes i know the back, the arms, the neck, the knees all suffer from this problem but look ahead commit to getting better. u CAN DO IT! xoxoxo cathy
