I read your article and your wanting to know if your doing the right thing. I think if your unsure, you should have a good long talk with your Doctor. This operation is final and in my case it did not give me pain relief. I have more pain than before surgery and my left leg is longer and I have a limp. But, my therapist says it will heal. (had broken bone, it healed, than I got avn, and had to have total left hip.) There are a lot of people on this site who have had great results and no pain and can do anything they want. Just keep up the exercise before surgery and I feel that willhelp afterwards. Do research. I bet you will just do fine.
