Following on from what I said before it probably would be wise to wait. I had very severe pain and an almost fused joint before I went for the op. Pig headedness and a lot of pain killers and anti inflamatories kept me on the golf course but I paid for it later on at night. Waiting for now would make sense but don't hold back when you feel that THR is a sensible option and your quality of life has become unsatisfactory.
