Hi Bob, I am a 41 yr old female, I had a THR on 6/28/00 and I was in terrible/worse pain after the surgery than I was before the surgery and my doctor couldn't give me an answer on what was wrong,I finally went for another opinion and found out mine also was loose. It was of course the one that was recalled..I had a revision done on 10/24/00 and am now on my way to recovery. I went from being on morhpine patches to almost no pain med right after the 2nd operation. I wish you the very best and if I can be of any futhur assistance please write me. I will say though I have had 7 months of hell so far!!!
