My foot was affected by a hip surgury in 1986. The sciatic nerve had been "bruised" and my foot droped and was paralyzed for three months. When it started to come back it was pretty Damed painfull but at least it came back and after a year or so I didnt need the drop foot brace. Today its not the same and I'm sorry that it happened. Your Doc knows what happened he just doesnt want to be liable. In my opinion, I wish you the best of luck and keep trying to move it!
