I had a total hip replacement on Dec, 27th. Left two toes and heel were numb when I woke up. Had complications with a blood clot in the calf of the leg and severe pain. Went back into the hospital for another 5 days for a heparin drip and cumoding. Still no relief and it is now 6 weeks later. I have weaned myself off of most of the medication as I was becoming a zombie. I have now got an MRI scheduled for Tuesday the 13th with a neurologist. I feel that the original doctor, Dr. Walter Choung, here in Florida just hurrys too much Said he did my total hip replacement in 45 minutes. Yes, 45 minutes from start to finish. I am really upset as I am normally a very active person and this has really set me back. There is no way I can prove negligence so just hope that things will get better with time.
