Donna- Thanks for your sympathy. I know that there isn't anybody who can really understand this frustration of just wanting to get better than someone on the same ride. I will be going home friday according to my progress so far. Just as long as I don't start running a fever again. That was a good idea putting all your questions in writing. That way the doc can't weasel around them. They are now in writing. I also think finding a second opinion is good too. I'm not sure what an effusion is, but it doesn't sound like a hip replacement bonus. My prayers are with you. Well, I'm about to enjoy another plate of hospital food! Yuck. I'd rather eat dirt...
