Hello everyone, I am happy that I found this discussion forum, I now realize that I am not alone.I am 47 years old, I had AVN and had a double bilateral THR done within 7 days during the month of August 2000. I still have important pains( buttock, groin area ) after 7 months. My doctor does not seems to listen to me and my physio-therapist does not understand why I am still in pain. The sitting position is the worst, it feels like I am sitting on a burning log. Some days I need a cane to walk around. I just found out that the manufacturer Sulzer had recalled some defective implants. Can anyone tell me how I can find out if my implants were made by Sulzer. I called my surgeon and am waiting for a reply but I fear I will have problems finding out.
