Hi Heather, so sorry to hear that you're still having pain. The hyper sensitivity in my foot was the most painful thing I've ever had to endure. And I have a really high pain tollerance. I really would encourage you to ask about taking Nortriptelene. It really did work once they got the dosage high enough. It is a drug that blocks the nerve impulses and was the only thing that worked for me. The normal dose that you start on ended up not being nearly strong enough and had to go to the max dosage, but the relief from the pain was definitely worth it. Didn't really have any side effects from it at all and it let me get back to normal life since my hip was feeling so much better. It's not worth it to just suffer and think it's going to go away. It may take a while so get some relief while you wait. I was told 2 months to 2 years for the numbness. Hound your doctor until he helps you. You really don't need to be in that much pain. Let me know if I can give you any more info.
