I am 33 and have been diagnosed with AVN. Duke is reviewing my info, and I should hear from them soon about the possibility of a Free Fibular Graft. I play a lot of basketball and started having pain in my groin and hip (worse in right than the left). I am on crutches as a precaution. Local Orthopedist suggested coring, but after my research we decided to get a consult from Duke.
Has anyone been through the proceedure? If so, could you offer any advice or insight? Any information would be greatly appreciated!
