Hi Kate, Sorry for my previous response I hit the wrong button! I am 39yo and on 30th April 2001 underwent bilateral Birmingham resurfacing and I couldn't be happier. I'm now just over 4 weeks post op, haven't had a piankiller since week 3. I'm still oncrutches but am attending Hydrotherapy - taking walks around the block and general feeling fine. Please let me know if you want any other information - by the way who is your surgeon?
