I'm 1/2 weight bearing right now and that pretty much means being on one crutch. You lose the crutch that is on the operated side. So for your gait you bring the crutch and bad leg forward then lean on the crutch slightly as you bring the good leg forward. It takes a little getting used to and I have to be careful not to lean too much. But, it's very nice to lose the crutch because you can carry things again. And you can get going pretty fast. I'm 3 months post-op now and am hoping to be off of crutches all together in a couple of weeks. Can't wait. Hope you are healing well. Good luck.
