Hi Kate and all else, i have just undergone resurfacing of r-hip, (Birmingham), and look forward to seeing the physical results in 3 months or so, right now i am 1 week post op and came home today, all seems well except for sleeping, i seem to wake numerous times through night with pain from the one position, to be expected so soon post op i guess but i can feel it will be a success, i am a young 43, glad i chose not to wait any longer for op, i wasn't at a severely restricted stage pre op but decided to go ahead given that OA is degenerative so it aint gonna get any better! Kate, i think i was in The Avenue at the same time a you, good luck and let me know how it went!
