I previously posted asking about recurrent infections in the thr. Today my mother-in-law went and had a needle aspiration from her hip joint space. It appears the infection is in there so they are admitting her tomorrow and starting antibiotics. They plan to remove her prothesis in a few days and put in a spacer. What do we have to look forward to? Will she be able to get around? Will she be back to square one as she was when we did the thr? I am just trying to figure out what I can look forward to. Thanks for any help.
