It's a GANZ Osteotomy. I am supposed to see a doctor next month about having one done myself. I just found out that I have osteoarthritis in my left hip, and my doctor is sending me to another surgeon to talk to him about it. I am more than a little nervous about this, mainly because I have a ten month old son who is almost wlaking and I am worried about the recovery time, as well as what the expected results will be.
I guess it will be better than the pain I have been having for the last few months. Can;t even take any pain killers, since I am still nursing the baby.
Any details on the procedure that you have would be welcomed.
