I am so disappointed in the outcome of my hip replacement. I am in worse pain now than I was before. I experienced sciatic and muscle damage. I can't find any relief from any kind of doctor. I have been to a nuerology doctor, pain management doctor, my primary physician, and physical therapists. None of them have helped. As a result of my nerve and muscle damage I favor that hip and now I have the other hip brothering me not to mention the pain in my back. Instead of getting rid of one spot of pain, I now have complete pain from the waist down. My experience has been horrible. Before my surgery I was very active in volleyball, playing in the senior games, etc. Before that I played for years with kids a lot younger than myself. I was playing in tournaments about twice a month. I'm 65 now. I wanted to have the hip replaced becaused I wasn't ready for the rocking chair just yet. That is where I spend a lot of my time now, because of the pain from my surgery. If you know or have experienced this same injury has a result of hip replacement surgery I would be most appreciative of advise and share my opinions with you.
